Chinese Ambassador to North Macedonia Jiang Xiaoyan Visits Pehčevo Municipality
On October 13, 2026, H.E. Mme. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan visited Pehčevo Municipality and met with Mayor Aleksandar Kitanski.
Ambassador Jiang noted that China practices a system of multiparty cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, follows a people-centered development philosophy, and advances whole-process people's democracy. The views and aspirations of the people are fully integrated into policy-making, ensuring that democracy is broad-based, well-rounded, substantive, and effective. China stands ready to strengthen exchanges with North Macedonia on governance, contributing to local economic and social development as well as the improvement of people's well-being.
The two sides exchanged views on trade and investment, municipal cooperation, people-to-people exchanges, and human resources training. Following the meeting, they visited a youth table tennis training camp and spoke with coaches and young players.
