Renewable energy auctions keep gaining ground in the Energy Community. North Macedonia announced a public call to support individual solar PV plants with total installed capacity of 80 MW. Bidders are invited to apply for a premium with projects on private land or public land for which the right of use has been established.
The award criterion is the lowest fixed premium asked by the bidders. The successful applicant will receive support paid on top of the electricity price under a 15-year contract with the Ministry.
The deadline for the submission of bids is 5 October 2021.
